I came to this because it made me feel alive again.
Iviancy Fuentes, founder of Eves vibes in Austin, Texas. Strength coach, certified in yoga, and a former engineer who went looking for work that felt like something.

"I was an engineer and I was feeling empty at the time. When I turned toward fitness and yoga, I felt renewed and creative. I cannot imagine a week now without the gym in it."

It started with wanting muscles, not a smaller number.
I began training about twelve years ago, young, and for a simple reason: I wanted to feel strong, not just skinny. That has organised my life ever since. Five or six days a week, still.
Engineering did not go to waste
It is still how my head works. Find the load-bearing part of a system, and do not add complexity where simplicity holds. That is why your program has four to six movements in it, not fourteen, and why progression is tracked in small honest increments instead of reinvented every Monday.
Then the yoga
I took my certification in yoga alongside the training work. It taught me pacing, breath, and patience with beginners. It is also how I undo eight hours of sitting before we add weight on top of it.
What I do outside the gym
I am an animal lover, pescatarian for about two years, and completely crazy about cats and rabbits and dogs. That is not a side note — it is the pace I coach at. Cats do not rush and they do not skip the stretch, and they are ready anyway. I ask the same of you: unhurried, consistent, and honest about what your body needs today. I also played volleyball and judo growing up, I am learning tennis and pickleball for the community of it, and I love to eat and try new things. Which should tell you everything about whether I will hand you a restrictive diet.
